I put this fixture over my island in my kitchen and it's a real conversation piece. Everyone who walks in comments on how much they love it. I'm very pleased. It also gives off cool patterns on the ceiling.

We purchased this fixture to hang over our dining room. The light is beautiful, but took a long time to assemble and install. Definetely a two man job. After almost two years of having it, we have had to replace 7 bulbs already and now one of the sockets is defective. I am now in the search of a replacement socket. Hope this helped, sometimes is better to hear from someone who has owned the item for a long time. Good luck.

light too low, bulbs go bad quickly, sockets go bad . . .

The light fixture itself is good looking. The quality of the components are not good. The light is not bright, the bulbs go bad quickly and the bulb sockets go bad.

It is difficult to find and purchase the right G9 bulbs.

It is almost impossible to find and replace the defective sockets.

These are things to consider when looking at this fixture.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
